Welcome to Hillhurst

Hillhurst proper – also knows in Calgary as Kensington, is a highly desirable inner-city neighbourhood in Calgary. Direct access to the downtown core via car – c-train or foot or bike make it attractive to those working downtown. The community features the Kensington and 10th Main Streets with local shops, restaurants, shopping and professional services galore. The neighbourhood consists of a variety of housing types with many newer midrise condo towers by Battistella Developments and Bucci Developments adding further density around the c-train and main street area on 10th. Hillhurst is bounded by the Bow River to the South, 10th Street to the east and 14th Street to the West. North of Kensington there are beautiful tree lined streets that offer single family, townhome and duplex residences. A few century homes remain in the area also giving the community a warm and eclectic feel. The community features two parks on its norther border, Riley park and Hillhurst Sunnyside Park. Hillhurst School is located in the North East of the community which offers a K-6 Program: A highly desirable inner-city community for those looking to live, work and play within an established and mature community.
